I bought it in September and I usually attempt to assemble things, however this looks rather complecated, and everytime I attempt to put it together I give up because it all looks too complecated.

I've decided to pay a professional to do it!

Otherwise if you can assemble, go for it. I can't wait until it's sorted out because it looks like a very nice design!

Reasonably easy to put together - took about 20 mins. It does require a bit of strength to stretch the cords around the wheel during construction. It is quite a large item but does provide lots of storage. Can't get in as many as the adverts state - but this depends on whether or not its filled with flats or stiletto's!

I replaced many clear boxes that were falling apart and no longer stacked with one wheel. My closet now looks neat and organized. However, it's not easy to get shoes in or out so I use the wheel for shoes I don't wear every day. It was also very difficult to assemble.

This is a very cool storage idea that will keep your guests admiring your sense of style.

It comes flat packed and is quite challenging to put together but the result is definitely worth it.

It is more suitable for ladies' shoes (smaller shoe sizes) and ideal for pretty much all types of shoes.

I particularly like the fact that you can see all pairs of shoes at a glance so it makes choosing the perfect outfit that much easier!

I would definitely recommend it, in fact I need to buy another one for the rest of my shoes!

I was fed up finding shoes all over the floor and having to search in the bottom of baskets for the other shoe! I keep this in my understairs cupboard which is easily accessible. The children can use it easily (can fit more than one pair of children's shoes in each pocket) and they find it fun so do use it! With 4 children this is fab! Even hubby uses it - size 10!

Not the most beautiful item, but very attractive for shoe storage! Shame it doesn't come in wider range of colours.

Instructions are very simple and I had it constructed on my own within 20 minutes with baby watching!

Nothing bad to say yet, hope it is as durable as I think.

This must have been invented by a woman!

The Shoe Wheel is a great produt with clear instruction of how to assemble. I only got into trouble by not looking at the instruction.
Once I got through the original shock of how big the wheel was and it does not fit vertically in standard British wardrobes (which would have saved more space).I still loved it.

When filling up the 16 spaces for my shoes I found shoes I hadn't worn in years. The reasons was they hurt my feet so I could bin them and put in others. I can see which shoes I want and get to them quickly I am now wearing all of my shoes. I love my shoe wheel and I have recommended this to all of my friends.

This was extremely easy to put together and the instructions were clear. I've had many compliments on its use and the one drawback in terms of design is that the 'dividers' between the shoes are not fixed. I understand that it allows you to store shoes of different widths but as they keep moving you find that some of the shoes look squashed into place. Other than that it seems to be coping admirably with the amount of shoes it's currently housing (28 pairs) so I'm happy with my purchase and will be purchasing to give as housewarming presents in the future.

Took long time to put together for something supposed to be "easy assembly". Poor quality materials. Looks nice enough in the photo, but pretty ugly in reality (particularly in terms of colour and design).

I bought this to store my best shoes for easy access, but it was immediately snaffled by my 'shoeholic', 24 year old daughter.
She found it quick and easy to assemble, spacesaving and easy to use.
I am now about to buy two more...One each!

What do you buy the Girl who has everything? Somewhere to put it all! And if that's shoes, then this is the first storage device you can buy for her as a birthday present without getting told to what to go and do with it.
It's great for most shoes, but if there are some delicate ones it takes a bit of care to get them in and out without getting caught on buckles and sequins and so on. I'm sure it'll loosen up over time anyway, but great device. I'm tempted to get one for myself.

I've found the shoe wheel to be brilliant. Have had other shoe storage solution products before but never one which would store so many shoes. As I have small feet, size 4 feet it is able to store more shoes than advertised. I can get at least a pair and a half in each section. Never found a shoe storage which would store all my shoes (and there are a lot!) so I'm very happy and so is my boyfriend. Brilliant invention definantly recommend it.

very good space saver, easy to fit together apart from the elastic cords, very tricky to move into place, shoes can be hard to get in and out of gaps.
I like it though, gets loads of shoes in and keeps them out of the way

Once my hubbie put it together I started to fill it up with the shoes in the cupboard but had to go get more as it holds soooo many. Great just to go look and spot the pair you want to wear instead of pulling them all out + then throwing them back in.
May treat myself to another one.

The Rakku wheel is just fab. We recently moved into temporary rented accommodation until our new house is finished and this has been so handy amid the Cardboard Box Chaos. My OH's trainers are now all in one place and not taking up all the space at the bottom of the wardrobe. Big Thumbs Up!

This is a really useful product to store my shoes in a different way instead of piling them up on top of each other and a great way to save space. The downfall is having to assemble it but it is definitely worth it and i would recommend it.

I was pleasantly surpised at how easy it was to put together. It is a great space saver and very versatile as you can adjust the sections for different size shoes. As it is clear you can find your shoes instantly. I would definitely recommend it.

Is bigger thasn might seem, but nopt exceptionally so, only problem we have is that it won't fit end on in the wardrobe.

I have mixed feelings about the shoe wheel.When I discovered it online I thought I'd found the 'holy grail!' for my shoe collection.I've taken delivery today, and now assembled, it's holding most of my shoes.On the plus side, it's a great space saver and a really good design idea.I'm not so impressed with the product itself.A big factor is the price.[$] is not cheap.For this money, I was expecting a better performing product, with better quality materials.If I had seen this in a store and tried it out I would probably not have purchased it just on that basis.Also, while there may be relatively 'simple' instructions, assembly was fiddly (I'm amazed about the reviewers who found this 'easy'?!!), and caused some worry that fittings/the pvc may be ripped during this process, which was frustrating.The base is of good construction; the cord is strong and of good quality - but the wheel frame itself is a disappointment.Try as I might (with my partner's help (!) and lots of adjustments) we couldn't get it to rotate smoothly through 360 degrees.It occasionally touches the base frame when rotating despite everything we have tried, as the wheel is made of plastic which is not as rigid as it could be and therefore there are some slight undulations.I'm not sure how suitable it is to store shoes with more delicate construction (i.e. sequins, satin, applique) given the method of putting the shoes in (through thick elastic cords) even if you are quite careful.I would prefer to stick with my old system (boxes) for these.I don't dislike the Shoe Wheel enough to return it but I doubt I will be ordering another.

This shoe wheel does what it says and swallows up many pairs of shoes, although it is quite large and takes up a considerable amount of room. Easy to use though once the dividers are evenly spread. However it is tricky to assemble, and the finish is a bit plasticky, which lets down a good idea.

I have in excess of 32 pairs of shoes - like most girlies (mine holds 32 pairs, mixture of heels and flats, trainers (mine)etc. The shoe wheel is great because most are in the wheel and I can spin it round on a daily basis and choose what I want ot wear! I had shoes in the back of the wardrobe I didn't even know I had but now I'm making use of all of them.. In fairness, I'm afraid you need a guy to set it up - but once up and twirling - it's great! Don't think it would be good for muddy family shoes but for me - brilliant!

Have tried all sorts of storage over the years and never been happy. Struggled a bit with the elastic bars, but once overcome this is the best way to store shoes ever. No more trying to keep them tidy in the bottom of the wardrobe (have too many). I can now see by just turning the wheel which pair I need. A bit too tall to go in the wardrobe but sits by the side and I would definitely recommend it.

I am pleased with the purchase. It is a very stylish way of storing shoes. A few issues I had was that is was heavier than I had expected, especially with shoes inside, so it isn't very portable even on wheels. The other thing was that one of the plastic seperators got torn rather easily. I must however say that it is still a very unique and nice product.

The shoe wheel is fantastic. I can easily fit my 20 pairs of shoes into it, and even have space left for my boyfriend's shoes. He is a size 10, and his shoes just fit in. I am a size 6 and my shoes fit in very easily. It is simple to get shoes in and out and I think the wheel looks cool too. It is bigger than I was anticipating, but certainly saves space compared to other types of shoe racks.

I have a wife who loves shoes... a lot! And how I love to find them as I trip over them in various rooms, especially at night. The Shoe Wheel is a delight and an unintentional marriage saver. She loves it for its organisation and design, I love the utilitarian nature and the simplicity of the engineering which, I have no doubt, was not simple. It sits in the front room like some objet d'art and this morning a neighbour saw it, loved it and asked me to email her the details. One minor criticism, the instruction sheet for assembly could be improved. Using the internet to produce online video manuals might prove commercially beneficial to post a video for assembly where you advertise your other excellent products while successfully assembling the Shoe Wheel within a reasonable time ... within 3 mugs of tea at least. Initially we bought one to test it out, but we will invest in another so our marriage will enjoy many more anniversaries from the day we purchased our first Rakku Shoe Wheel.

was sceptical at first, but thought it was worth a try. You buy these gadgets hoping to solve your ever increasing storage problems and usually end up throwing them out, But I have been very pleasantly surprised with the wheel. My teenagers assembled it for me, so that was pretty simple. Can fit 2 pairs of flats into each section. the only problem is that I need another one, so I cover summer and winter! Great device get one now.
